About Us

In 2009, my world was turned upside down when I found out that I had Breast Cancer. I wanted so desperately to get married to my fiancé of 3 years, Graham, however the burden that cancer brings to a family’s finances meant that it was simply not possible. Then in late 2011 a local wedding planner offered to help me organise my wedding and also to find wedding suppliers who would work for free. We married on 6th June 2012.

I was overwhelmed with the enormous generosity of all who helped to make my wedding a perfect day and it was made even more special knowing that without their support, it simply would not have happened. I was determined to turn my experiences into something positive and set up The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation to help others in the same way.
